Tony Gwynn played for the San Diego Padres for 20 seasons. His career batting average was an astounding .338 and he hit better than .300 against every team in the National League.

Tony hit over .300 for 19 straight seasons eclipsing the National League record that was set by Honus Wagner from 1897-1913. He also won eight batting titles and compiled 3,141 career hits. Tony played in 15 All-Star Games and won five Gold Glove Awards for outstanding defense in the outfield.
